Community Meetup

Community meetup

Join us in an inclusive and non-judgmental space, where we encourage open sharing of thoughts and feelings. Listening to each other’s stories can provide insights, empathy, and a sense of unity.

We have designed Interactive Workshops: Our experienced facilitators will lead engaging workshops on various aspects of mental well-being, including stress management, mindfulness, and building resilience. Connect with like-minded individuals who are on similar mental health journeys. These connections can provide ongoing support and encouragement.

  • Self-Care Stations: Take some time for yourself at our self-care stations, where you can unwind, recharge, and practice relaxation techniques.
  • Real-Life Stories: Share personal stories of individuals who have overcome mental health challenges. These stories can inspire hope and demonstrate the possibility of recovery.
  • Interactive Exercises: Engage participants in group activities, role-plays, and exercises that illustrate mental health concepts and encourage empathy.
  • Resource Sharing: Provide information about local mental health resources, including helplines, support groups, therapists, and community organizations.
  • Icebreaker Introductions: Start the workshop with an icebreaker activity to help participants feel comfortable and get to know each other. This can be as simple as sharing one thing they are looking forward to or one thing they are grateful for.
  • Mindfulness Exercise: Lead a guided mindfulness exercise, such as a body scan or focused breathing. Mindfulness can help participants become more present and aware of their thoughts and feelings.
  • Wellness Vision Board: Provide magazines, newspapers, and art supplies for participants to create a wellness vision board. Encourage them to choose images and words that represent their mental health and well-being goals.
  • Group Sharing Circle: Facilitate a group sharing circle where participants can openly discuss their experiences with mental health challenges, coping strategies, and sources of support. This fosters a sense of community and understanding.
  • Self-Care Bingo: Create a bingo card with different self-care activities (e.g., take a nature walk, meditate, call a friend). Participants can mark off the activities they complete during the workshop or commit to doing in the future.

  • Positive Affirmations: Have participants write positive affirmations on index cards and share them with others. This activity promotes self-compassion and encourages positive self-talk.
