Susthaa aims to bring healthy conversations about every aspect of human life.
It brings healthy ways to cope and treat mental health. We believe mental health care should be very normal as physical care and every person should be well educated about mental health and mental illness to take care of themselves and loved ones.
Its programmes such as school/college workshops, neuro-cognitive events, mental health parties and doctor care sessions are conducted to create a positive outlook towards these stigmatised topics. Let’s end this pandemic and create healthy stories of your lives.
Having taught kids across borders and countries I came across an unspoken issues that everyone goes through and that is mental illness in students/kids. Mental health is just like physical health which sometimes gets sick but why can’t we speak about it openly if our mental health is affected? Why is it unprofessional? Why can’t we seek help? Is it okay seeking help?
All of these questions have one answer that is these are highly stigmatised topics and people are ashamed to talk about it or even if they do have the courage, they do not have right resources to go to.
Having seen mental health issues in my family like severe anxiety, depression and anorexia which my close ones went through made me realise mental health care is essential. That’s when I realised to start the Susthaa an organisation to create much needed awareness in each and everyone’s lives where everyone feels included. Mental health shouldn’t be an urban concept anymore. I bring this new age organisation of mental wellness where we use fun creative ways to create the necessary awareness.
